The demand for natural gas supply in Malaysia has been increasing steadily. To address this requirement, a high-capacity modular gas processing and pressure regulating station was constructed to interconnect a 66-inch high-pressure transmission gas pipeline with downstream city gas distribution pipelines and industrial connections.
This project adopts a skid mounted modular liquid and gas process systems concept, enabling faster deployment and improved system reliability.
The station works on natural gas by stable pressure reduction and accurate metering, ensuring safe operation of the facility and supporting both city gas and industrial energy needs.

Project Background
With expanding urbanization and industrial growth in Malaysia, natural gas has become a critical energy source. In many cases, upstream supply conditions are similar to those in modular LNG plant or LNG facility modular construction scenarios, where high-pressure gas must be processed efficiently.
Because gas from transmission pipelines is delivered at high pressure, it must be safely reduced and precisely measured before entering downstream systems. This is similar to processes used in industrial gas vaporization systems and LNG vaporization system applications.
The client required a high-performance station capable of handling large gas volumes with stable pressure and accurate measurement.
